Miditrail soundfont5/1/2023 ![]() MIDITrail isn't designed to run on older computers such as PowerPC-based machines. It uses the DirectX engine to display 3D visuals on Windows, and uses Macintosh itself to display 3D visuals on a Mac. It is currently a project on Sourceforge Japan. When I import the same MIDI file into MuseScore, however, and change the velocity of the notes to 80 through the inspector, it sounds excellent, see: (MP3).Įxporting this as MIDI (see Exported MIDI.mid) improves the quality significantly, but it still differs from what it sounds like in MuseScore, see: (MP3). It loads SoundFont and DLS (Downloadable Sounds) as WaveTable, and can be used for keyboard instrument, MIDI sound module, and MIDI player. I downloaded MuseSource_General.sf2 (see ) and imported the SF2 soundfont into my MIDI synthesizer. I would like to use the piano soundfont of MuseScore to make my external MIDI files sound more realistic. This might be a bit off-topic, but since I couldn’t find a better place to post my question, I decided to ask here.
